Ensemble music-based simultaneous measurement of room impulse responses

(in English) In this paper, we propose to utilize part sounds of ensemble music as a reference signal for measuring room impulse responses simultaneously by semi-blind source separation.
By simultaneous measurement of the impulse responses at every transfer channel, we can achieve a measurement in a shorter time and at the same time compared to measurement of each channel.
Furthermore, in the proposed method, the impulse responses can be measured while the user is listening to the one ensemble music.
We attempt to ensure the wide band of the reproduced reference sound from the loudspeakers by reproducing the different part sounds from each loudspeaker at the same time, and by rotating the part sounds with respect to the loudspeakers at regular time intervals.
To reveal the effectiveness of the proposed method, the reproduction accuracy of the sound reproduction system with inverse filtering was evaluated, in which the inverse filters were designed by the measured impulse responses.
As a result, the proposed method with rotating can improve the reproduction accuracy of the reproduced sound by about 7 dB compared with no rotation measurement.
