| (in English) | There is the fact that, when people send messages, they do not always deterministically choose the recipients in advance; people sometimes send message to someone who is likely interested in the content of the message. Researchers have started discussing a new messaging system that has the capability of dynamically controlling the range of recipients of messages dependently on the context. Relational metrics can be used to control the range of the recipients in the contextual messaging system. However, the problem we would face is how the information of relational metrics should be placed; it is infeasible that only single global server serves all the information of relational metrics for all users in the messaging system. This paper suggests a hierarchical architecture in which a global server manages the original information of relational metrics, while local severs partly cache information of relational metrics. Our key idea is a predictive caching algorithm, which predictively caches information of relational metrics; local severs predict what information will be likely requested and cache the information in advance. |
