Store-Carry-Forward Routing Based on Characteristics of Contact Nodes and Locations

(in English) In store-carry-forward routing in DTN (Delay/Disruption Tolerant Network) environments, designing efficient routing scheme is one of the most important technical issue. In order to reduce the number of message copies, knowledge-based store-carry-forward routing schemes have been considered. In most of those routing schemes, relay nodes are selected based on characteristics of contact nodes or locations. In this article, we consider a new knowledge-based routing scheme, where relay nodes are selected based on characteristics of both contact nodes and locations. Through simulation experiments, we clarify when the synergy effect of information about contact nodes and locations can be achieved.
