Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) can be categorized into many method and Microwave wireless Power Transfer(MPT). Compared with other method, MPT system can transmit the RF power for long distance. However, it is very difficult for this technology to archive high RF-DC Power Conversion Efficiency (PCE) since microwave power follows Friis transmission equation and the input power of RF-DC rectifier is lower in long distance between transmitter and receiver. Therefore, in this investigation, we proposed the novel wide dynamic range rectifier, which has two-type diodes to correspond to various input power: one has high threshold voltage and the other has low threshold voltage. In simulation, the rectifier achieves over 50% RF-DC power conversion efficiency from -7 dBm to 16 dBm: the dynamic range is 23dB. We confirm that the results in the validity of proposed design topology. |
