Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Scale model method is one of the candidates in the research methods for radio propagation. In order to construct the scale model method, the propagation losses in the scale model were compared with these in real environment. In the past, the 1/70 and 1/133 scale models were examined. In this study, the propagation loss was measured at 10.5GHz in the 1/200 scale model and at 20GHz in the 1/133 scale model. Then these propagation losses were compared with the measurement data at 52.5MHz or 150MHz in real environment. The standard deviation of the differences between the propagation losses for real environment and the scale model are 11.5 dB for 1/200 scale model, 4.2 dB for 1/133 scale model. The reproducibility of 1/70, 1/133, 1/200 and 1/350 were compared. It is cleared that when scale size becomes larger, the standard deviations of the differences become smaller. When 150MHz measurement data in real environment was used, the standard deviation of the differences was small. But when 30MHz measurement date in real environment was used, that was large. It is thought that measurement frequency in real environment influences reproducibility of the propagation loss in scale models.
