(in English) In this paper, an LED-to-LED VLCs (Visible Light Communication) system with generalized modified prime sequence codes (GMPSCs) is proposed for bidirectional VLCs.
In the proposed LED-to-LED system using LED array as both transmitting and receiving devices, on-off keying (OOK) and code shift keying (CSK) are employed as modulation schemes for realizing multiple LEDs access with code-division multiple-access (CDMA) technique.
Moreover, the bit error rate (BER) performances of the proposed systems are analyzed and evaluated through theoretical analysis.
Consequently, the BER performance of the proposed system using CSK can be improved compared with that of the conventional LED-to-LED system using time-division multiple-access with OOK about 2.5 dBm when the code length is 64 chips, and the number of LEDs is 4 in an LED array.
