Until now, there have been many studies about image quality evaluation for multi-viewpoint 3D color still images or about ROI (Region Of Interest). Particularly, it wasn't revealed that assessors focused on what region or area in the multi-viewpoint 3D still images by whether the certain region of color or gray scale in the multi-viewpoint still image since there were much the number of viewpoints. Furthermore, there was an example of study about the evaluation of the coded degradation by the background or object region in the multi-viewpoint 3D image until now. In addition, it wasn't revealed whether it affected for assessors about look-at-point environment and subjective quality or not when the background region is gray scale. In this paper, we demonstrated subjective evaluation for image quality when the background region is gray scale in the case of occurring the coded degradation for objects or background region with 8-viewpoints parallax barrier method. From experimental results, we analyzed them, and classified them by using Support Vector Machine (SVM). |
