(in English) Developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), "Daichi-2" (ALOS-2) is equipped with the PALSAR-2, which is the world-class high observation performance. "Daichi-2" was launched by H2A rocket on May 24, 2014 as the successor to "Daichi" (ALOS). In order to satisfy the performance and the functions that are required to "Daichi-2", Active Phased Array Antenna (APAA), which forms PALSAR-2, has improved the performance of EIRP / bandwidth, and also the APAA has added the controlling functions of polarization / antenna beam shape from PALSAR of "Daichi".
In this paper, we describe the flight model development results of PALSAR-2 antenna.
