Wheeler method is known as a simple method of measuring radiation efficiency for small antennas. To reduce uncertainty of measured radiation efficiency, authors have examined a method of measuring reflection coefficients with a 180 degree 3 dB hybrid coupler. A sliding short can be used to change the phase of the reflection coefficient for reference standard, but it takes a lot of time to measure them because of manually adjusting the position of the sliding short. In this paper, we aim to shorten the measurement time by using a phase shifter and short instead of the sliding short and point out a problem. |
