Memory-Efficient Indexing Structure for Permuted Pattern Matching on Multi-Track Strings

(in English) A multi-set of $N$ strings of length $n$ is called a multi-track string.
The permuted pattern matching is the problem that
given two multi-tracks $mt{T} = { t_1,ldots,t_N }$ of length $n$ and $mt{P}={ p_1,ldots,p_N }$ of length $m$,
outputs all positions $i$ such that ${ p_1, ldots, p_N }= { t_1[i:i+m-1],ldots,t_N[i:i+m-1] }$．
A contracted multi-track position heap (CMTPH) is a memory-efficient $O(n)$-space data structure
for the permuted pattern matching problem.
Using CMTPH, the permuted pattern matching can be solved in $O(m^2N^2+occ)$ time.
We propose a new $O(nN)$-time construction algorithm for CMTPH.
Moreover, we show that the permuted pattern matching can be solved in $O(max(mN+occ,m^2N^2))$ time
by using CMTPH combined with an auxiliary data structure of $O(n)$-space.
