Theoretical analysis evaluation of optimum Backoff parameter for collision avoidance control on WLAN

(in English) In the wireless LAN networks, the increase of both stations and traffic will reduce the transmisson efficiency,since packet collisions occur frequency. The contention window (CW) size of Backoff procedure is used bycarrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) method in the wireless LAN. since the optimum value of this CW are selected according to the number of connected stations. To solve the issue of packet collisions,we proposed the collision avoidance control method, and this method were evaluated by computer simulations.
In this study, the proposed collision avoidance control method were analyzed by Markov chain model. As for the theory analysis result, an almost corresponding result was obtained compared with the result of the computation simulation that had been obtained by the previous work.
