| (in English) | In this paper, we propose a method to estimate user characteristics of life events such as “marriage” and “parenting” by using the writing of Yahoo! Chebukuro and the user behavioral log on Yahoo! Japan. While the deep understanding of user characteristics is essential for accurate personalization, the efficient acquisition is changing issue. Our proposed method consists of two steps: 1) Extract questioners who have the certain life event (ex. “parenting”) from the writing on the Yahoo! Chiebukuro (ex. "I have a child of the 3-year-old") using pattern matching. 2) As using the questioners obtained on the first step as training data, estimate whether the users who have never posted on Yahoo! Chiebukuro have the certain life event using the user behavioral log on Yahoo! Japan (ex. queries and page views). The experimental results showed that it can extract enough questioners accurately that can be used as positive examples on the second step. | |
