(in English) This paper presents a basic study on a quad-band bandpass filter (QBPF) with a line structure comprising cascade connection of composite right- and left-handed transmission line (CRLH-TL) cells having two different element values (CRLH-TL-TDEV). Four passbands can be achieved based on the analytical investigation on the dispersion characteristics of the CRLH-TL-TDEV. Numerical and experimental results show that the CRLH-TL-TDEV has the potential for constructing the QBPF.
