(in English) Every year almost 1 million people are killed in traffic crashes. Over the past twenty years, research has moved toward intelligent systems that predict dangerous situations and anticipate accidents. These are known as advanced driver assistance systems, in the sense that they help the driver by providing warnings, assisting in decision-making, and even automatically taking evasive action. However, many challenges remain, especially the rapid, high-precision detection of pedestrians. In this time, we addresses recent progress, our work and future trends in this research field.
