Simulation of spin-torque oscillator for microwave-assisted magnetic recording

(in English) Spin-torque oscillator (STO) is the most important component in microwave-assisted magnetic recording (MAMR). Some requirements for STO are large amplitude and stable oscillation, low injected current, appropriate frequency that excites resonance inrecording medium. It is also necessary for the STO oscillation to closely follow the head coil current. In this paper, STO were integrated into the write head and micromagnetic analysis carried out to obtain a write head structure for stable STO oscillation and for following a high frequency head coil current. STO materials were also investigated for low injected current.
