This paper describes a success of Via-Wheel Power Transfer (V-WPT) to an electric cart in motion exploiting an indoor floor.
We designed a V-WPT system feeding to the electric cart.
We prototyped an electrified floor, an electric cart, matching circuits, and a rectifier which compose the system.
We demonstrated feeding RF power to the manned cart in motion by prototyped V-WPT system.
The power transmission efficiency of V-WPT showed 42%, and the total efficiency (DC-DC) showed 21%. |
