Developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), "DAICHI-2" (ALOS-2) is equipped with the PALSAR-2, which is the world-class high observation performance. "DAICHI-2" was launched by H2A rocket on May 24, 2014 as the successor to "DAICHI" (ALOS). In order to satisfy the performance and the functions that are required to "Daichi-2", Active Phased Array Antenna (APAA), which forms PALSAR-2, has improved the performance of EIRP / bandwidth. In addition, the APAA has added the controlling functions of polarization / antenna beam shape from PALSAR of "DAICHI".
In this paper, we describe the flight model development results of PALSAR-2 antenna. |
