Improvement of spatial resolution by integration of high frame rate images based on high-precision motion estimation

(in English) Recently, the study of improvement of spatial resolution is one of major themes. Above all, we have been investigating the method of improvement of spatial resolution by integration of multi frames. Generally, the method requires high precise motion estimation, because quality of reconstruction image depends on a precision of motion estimation. However, it is difficult to estimate motion vectors precisely, because of motion blur and low correlation between frames. So, we have proposed the technique of motion estimation using high frame rate images.
In this paper, we propose a low computational method of improvement of spatial resolution by integration of high frame rate images based on high precision motion vectors obtained by our method.
