[Poster Presentation] Detection performance of emergency wake-up signal with frequency diversity for ISDB-T digital television receivers

(in English) Integrated Services Digital Television - Terrestrial (ISDB-T) broadcasters would send a special signal to wake up receivers when emergency alert is advised. The special signal is also used for identifying the transmission parameter, such as the modulations and coding rates, but it is usually fixed. Therefore, the use of the parity in the special signal is proposed for detecting emergency alert trigger. In this paper, the frequency diversity as well as the parity is used for further improving the detection performance. Result indicated the combination of the proposed detection with the parity and frequency diversity was almost free from false alarm even in the mobile reception at the velocity of 100 m/s.
