Quasi-halo orbits attract much attention for formation flying of several spacecraft to conduct space observations. In this note, we propose the use of Center Manifold Method to compute quasi-halo orbits that can be used for formation flying with large relative distance. The required computation time is much less than existing methods such as Poincare section method since the proposed method simply integrates ordinary differential equations iteratively. The effectiveness of the method is confirmed by simulation and Poincare maps. |
