Automatic Generation of Intermediate Parallax Image without Depth Map

(in English) 3D display has been studied actively in recent years. For the 3D display which can provide the naked eye 3D image, a number of parallax images is required to represent the natural 3D image. However, when getting a large number of parallax images by cameras, there is a problem of installation interval depending on the size of the camera. To solve this problem, a method to generate a number of intermediate parallax images by using a depth map which is obtained by stereo images had been proposed. However there is a problem that can not generate the parallax image in the region where occlusion occurs. In this paper we propose a method of generating intermediate parallax images without using the depth map.
