A study on interference suppression techniques for downlink nonlinear MU-MIMO

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO), which can achieve the MIMO transmission by regarding the multiple users as the virtual large scale array antenna system, has been attraction much attention. Non-linear precoding MU-MIMO has also been attracting attention since the high frequency efficiency can be achieved in the ideal case. However, the transmission performance of non-linear precoding MU-MIMO seriously degrades due to the inter-user interference caused by less channel state information accuracy. The residual inter-user interference can effectively suppressed by interference suppression techniques at the receiver side. However, in the nonlinear precoding MU-MIMO transmission, it is needed to consider the offset vector called as the perturbation vector, which is added to transmit signal. In this paper, we propose an applying methods of interference suppression techniques for the nonlinear precoding MU-MIMO, and its transmission performance is evaluated by computer simulation.
