(in English) In 5G mobile communication system, it is one of the most important issues to clarify the propagation characteristics at the high-SHF (over 6 GHz) and EHF (mainly 30 – 60 GHz) bands. In this paper, Conventional study on the characteristics is summarized, and then we show the frequency dependency of propagation loss based on the measurement in urban microcellular environment. In addition, the investigation results of frequency dependency of shadowing effect of human body and scattering effect on rough surface are also shown.
