[Encouragement Talk] Applying Time-Series Models to Load Leveling Process and Latency Prediction Based Appropriate EMS Demand Estimation Method

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The service configuration requests to EMSs that are generated in response to contracts of NW service with customers, the frequency is varying by region and season and time. Since these requests include some requests that are required to process immediately, we have to invest in CAPEX and OPEX by assuming the EMS performance demand at maximum load in order to responsive to any requests. However, because EMS performance demand is less except the maximum load in ordinary circumstances, the action is inefficient.
We have been studying on the available EMS performance based appropriate load leveling (peak shift) method for the purpose of making available to maximize the plant resources of EMSs. In this paper, we propose a method of calculating the appropriate EMS performance demand based latency prediction of the time lag of up to process starting from the request generation, which is important in the operation of the carrier network.
