This paper presents a solution for extending capabilities of a light-weight building management systems (BMS) by employing an external database. As a BMS platform DOMIQ system was introduced. To couple BMS and a database server another server had to be developed: an Object Point Control (OPC) server. The collected data will enable enhancing energy consumption control via employing prediction of behaviour of building users. |
