(in English) Discrete PSO is an algorithm to solve discrete optimization problems.
The discrete PSO obtains solutions for the problems by discretizing position information of searching particles.
In discretizing the position information, the common discrete PSO uses uniform random number.
This paper investigates the distribution of random number and its range of application
to more efficiently search solutions.
By performing the numerical simulations, the results for typical binary benchmark functions are presented.
