Human Friendly Robot Based on Ontologies

(in English) Recently, AI applications such as IBM Watson and Siri have received much attention. These are question and answering systems that apply intelligent processing technologies such as inference mechanisms and machine learning to stored computable knowledge representations from the large amount of formal knowledge described by natural languages, numeric characters, figures, and tables. However, the framework of the systems has not developed sufficiently enough to improve each other's intelligence by mutual collaboration between humans and machines. The purpose of this research is to explore the framework for coevolution of intelligence, which refers to the coevolution of human intelligence and machine intelligence through the multimodal interaction between humans and machines. Specifically, we have developed a platform named PRINTEPS (PRactical INTElligent aPplicationS) that enables the development of practical intelligent applications in each domain efficiently.
