[Poster Presentation] Basic study on evaluation of Virtual Auditory Display using presence of a sound source

(in English) We focus on sense of presence of a sound source as an indicator to evaluate Virtual Auditory Display. We prepared an experimental environment that listeners listen to sounds both from real speakers and from VAD system with headphones based on HRTFs (Head-Related Transfer Functions). Listeners answered perceived direction, vraisemblance, and presence of a sound source. In some kinds of the sound source, factor of presenting method was statistically significant at presence of a sound source despite the results of localization of sound source direction were almost same. From the result, presence of a sound source may be usable as an indicator of VAD system that is different from localization of sound source.
