A study of a diplexer using transversal filters based on microstrip coupled lines

(in English) In this paper, we first examine the basic characteristics of transversal filters using microstrip coupled lines by electromagnetic simulation and experiment.Secondly, a bandpass filter(BPF) using two stages of transversal filters and short-circuited stub is composed, and transmission characteristics of the BPF are examined by electromagnetic simulation and experiment.Finally, a diplexer is also proposed by using two BPF based on the presented transversal filters. The transmission characteristics of the diplexer are verified by electromagnetic simulation.
