Application of Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communications by Using 700MHz Band to Signal Control.

(in English) We have been developing DSSS (Driving Safety Support Systems) for V2V and V2I cooperation systems and examining test systems in the field. We installed a 700MHz band wireless communication system as one of the communication media into the DSSS. The DSSS was originally created to assist drivers in safety. We have also recently tried to apply the 700MHz wireless communication system to signal controllers for environmental use. We are examining how to apply it to right-turn actuated signal controllers and traffic flow diagnosis system. In this paper we report on the results of a field test for right-turn vehicle detection and analysis of vehicles behavior for the diagnosis system.
