| (in English) | With increasing demand for the protection of personal information on the network, high level security measures is required for medical information network, for which the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare issued the guideline as a reference. For the purpose of developing a secure network using Internet, we propose a new method to configure a dynamic VPN with existing on-demand VPN mechanisms by adding OpenFlow technology and HPKI user authentication. This approach allows us to control the network per service basis for each user on the terminal. The PKI user authentication using HPKI certificate makes it possible to manage the network with more rigorous safety. We verified our approach by the experiment using a newly-developed prototype system and confirmed that the system meets the security requirements defined by the government guideline, which showed the effectiveness of our proposed method. | |
