Dielectric properties of biological tissues are necessary to understand interaction between biological body and electromangetic fields. However, there is still lack of the measurement data for dielectric properties in ELF to IF bands. Our previous studies indicated that measurement of conductivity can be conducted with in allowable accuracy, however, improvement is necessary for the measurement of permittivity. This study present for improvement of measurement system for permittivity measurement at frequencies from ELF to IF bands. Firstly, dominant error factor was clarified by sensitivity analysis in dielectric property measurement with parallel plate methods. Secondly, measurement system using 40Gs/s oscilloscope was developed and evaluated using simple electric circuit. Finally, the system was applied for measurement of physiological saline as example. |
