In a MANET constructed at mobile terminals, instability of the communication and energy consumption of the terminals become the problem. Topology control of the network by transmission power has been investigated to stabilize the communication in a dense environment and to reduce energy consumption. Singly link generated by the topology control, however, bring collision of routing packets. Therefore, in this study, we propose a new topology control that keeps doubly links by controlling not only transmission power but also threshold of the energy detection based on the degree, that is, the number of the adjacent nodes. Our topology control suppresses the electric wave interference, stabilizes the communication and saves the terminal’s electricity power. Simulation under the mobile environment has revealed that packet delivery ratio increases and consumption of terminal-electricity decreases with our proposal method. |
