An Efficient Distributed Cooperative Diversity Method for STBC-OFDM Multi-hop Networks

(in English) This paper proposes an opportunistic routing scheme maximizing cooperative diversity gain, scheduling access control and reducing power consumption for STBC-OFDM multi-hop networks. In particular, we propose a novel procedure of relay selection based-on position, speed and direction of movement of relays. Furthermore, a new timer based-on distance between potential relay and destination node is installed to schedule media access control. This timer is also used to select the different STBC patterns to maximize diversity gain. From the results of the simulation, we can confirm that the proposed method can achieve considerable improvement of the power consumption of each node.
