Recently, as automotive electronics has been increasing, models for predicting the transmission characteristics of wiring harnesses, which is suitable for the automotive EMC test, has been more needed. In this paper,the repetitive structure of cross-sectional shape of the twisted pair cable is focused. By taking account of RLGC parameters, the theoretical analysis model for the whole cables, based on multi-conductor transmission line theory, is proposed. Furthermore, scattering matrix parameters for test cables are compared among values of the theoretical, the measured and the simulated from a full-wave simulator. It was conrmed that the proposed model is applicable in a few hundred of MHz. |
