Measurement and Analysis of Electromagnetic Field Leaked by Wireless Power Transfer System in Case-study House

(in English) The wireless power transfer system has been actively developed in recent years. Since the electromagnetic field leaked from the WPT system installed in the house interferes with the other electronics devices, the electromagnetic interference is critical issue for its practical realization. In this paper, the electromagnetic field leaked from the WPT system installed in the case-study house is investigated in both the measurement and simulation by using a simple WPT model, that is called “WPT emulator”. The WPT emulator is composed of only primary coil to emulate the electromagnetic field leaked from the WPT system. As the result of the investigation, the simulation results are almost in agreement with the measurement results and it is shown that the leaked electromagnetic field in the case-study house can be analyzed using the electromagnetic field simulator.
