We have developed a kinetic inductance traveling-wave amplifier. In this paper, we discuss on a nonlinear kinetic inductance of niobium titanium nitride thin film occurred by applying current to the film. To estimate the nonlinearity, we fabricated a superconducting coplanar waveguide with a line length of 0.2 m and measured the transmittance. A variation of the electrical length of the line caused by the modulation of the kinetic inductance was observed as a function of current value applying to the strip. |
