Development of singing voice synthesis system has received a lot of attention along with the improvement of speech synthesis technology. The typical methods such as “concatenative synthesis” and “HMM synthesis” needed a big data storage, and the quality of output sound relatively depended on the amount of data. Our previous singing voice synthesis system using articulatory movement HMM could reduce the size of data storage, but it also degraded the quality of synthesized voice. Therefore, in this paper, we propose two methods based on complication and smoothing techniques to improve the naturalness of the singing voice. Furthermore, we used subjective evaluations in this study. |
