Relationship between topographical distribution and condition of visual stimuli is one of significant items on the analysis of visual evoked potentials (VEPs). However, most of studies were not so quantitative way, but also qualitative one. This study investigated the establishment of the characteristic parameters those appropriately grasped the features of VEPs topography. Two methods for estimating the topographical maps were adopted and those results were compared. Characteristic parameters calculated from both the methods were similar tendencies for actual VEPs data. Those suggested that the parameters constructed here were applicable for quantitative analysis of relationship between VEP topography and visual stimulus condition. |
