A Framework for Monitoring Quality of Service and Detecting Bottlenecks of Computer Systems Based on Graph-Structured Log

(in English) This paper proposes a framework for monitoring and improving quality of service of computer systems. The proposed system captures the dataflow of the monitored system as graph-structured logs. By analyzing those logs as a graph, it can precisely measure the quality of service and detect bottlenecks of the monitored system, even if its dataflow traverses many hosts and processes. We report our experimental result that shows the proposed system can measure end-to-end durations of dataflows, detect bottlenecks and find out abnormal dataflows of a real data processing system.
