Performance Evaluation of a Reduced-Complexity Detection Based on Symbol Distribution Approximation for a 3x3 MIMO Spatial Multiplexing System

(in English) We evaluate the performance of the recently proposed MIMO detection scheme based on symbol distribution approximation (SDA).By approximating one interfering symbol as a continuous ring with uniform distribution, it has been shown that the SDA is able to reduce MIMO detection complexity without sacrificing achievable bit error rate performance for PSK modulated 2$times$2-MIMO systems.
In this work, we extend the system to 3$times$3-MIMO systems, each modulate by APSK modulation formats that have low signal PAPR, and evaluate its effectiveness.
