A Survey on Mobility Management for Information-Centric Network

(in English) Information-Centric Networking (ICN) emerged as a novel communication paradigm advocating retrieving data through their names. Under this paradigm, data are named and addressed regardless of their locations, and therefore are enabled to be disseminated and retrieved through their names. On the other hand, due to the extensive use of smart phones and tablets, the number of mobile users of the Internet has been steadily increasing. Thus, we address mobility issues for ICN and survey the basic ICN designs, examine mobility problems from application and stakeholder points of view, and investigated the existing ICN mobility mechanisms.
