A high reliability large data transfer protocol with Wi-Fi peer-to-peer communications

(in English) A Wi-Fi peer-to-peer communication technology has been attracting attention as a solution technique for problems such as increase traffic and shortage of the radio band. Using multicast, data can be distributed to many receivers faster than using unicast, since it is capable of transmitting data simultaneously to multiple receivers. However, correct data reception is not guaranteed. Therefore, we propose a high reliability large data transfer protocol with Wi-Fi peer-to-peer communication. The proposed method can reduce distribution time by 56% compared with the conventional unicast method, where 10,000 recipients exist.
