Simulation study of 3D temperature field measurement by acoustic computed tomography is presented for temperature field visualization and air-conditioning control of telecommunication machine rooms. It is important in acoustic computed tomography how to arrange acoustic sensors. In general, acoustic sensors have limited directive property. Acoustic sensors have to be arranged as to make the best use of sound ray paths and realize better temperature estimation and spatial resolution. This paper presents some sensor arrangements and simulation results of temperature estimation assuming that some acoustic sensors are arranged in the cuboid space of aisle between server racks in telecommunication machine rooms. |
