[Poster Presentation] Giving Intentionality to a Character of Fortune-Telling Style Consultation System Using Loss of a Sense of Agency

(in English) Even when a person loses the sense of agency for a given action, the action often behaves according to the subconscious preference of the person. The lost sense of agency of the person will be given to a certain agent except oneself, e.g., anthropomorphic on-screen agent. We make a hypothesis that the agent involves a stronger intention at that time.To confirm this hypothesis, we developed a fortune-telling style consultation system as a smartphone application and examined the strength of the intention which the users feel to the on-screen agent of the system. As a result, the proposed method obtained the better scores than two comparative methods although there was no significant differences between the methods.
