Finite Key Rate of B92 Quantum Key Distriburion Protocol

(in English) The B92 quantum key distribution protocol is known as a secret key sharing method with the information-theoretic security against an eavesdropper.
Its key rate is the ratio of the length of the final key to that of the sifted key before privacy amplification and error correction.
To calculate the key rate, it is necessary to determine the number of bits to be shortened in privacy amplification by estimating parameters of the quantum channel.
Previous researches revealed asymptotic key rates that are calculated by the estimation method with the infinite number of qubits.
However, a key rate with finite qubits was unknown.
In this study, we clarify the relationship between the key rate and the number of qubits used in the estimation.
To clarify this relationship, we determine a confidence region of quantum channel parameters, then we minimize the conditional entropy of the eavesdropper over the parameters within the confidence region.
Finally, we calculate the key rate by the minimized conditional entropy.
