| (in English) | In order to realize broadband absolute frequency detection at room temperature, we demonstrated terahertz electric field detection using low-temperature-grown GaAs dipole photoconductive antenna gated with ultrashort optical pulses generated by a Ti:Sapphire laser. The observed frequency of the beat signal agreed with the estimated difference between the frequency of the light source and multiple of laser repetition frequency, demonstrating a promising capability of this technique for frequency standard in the sub-terahertz region. | |
