Visual object tracking is one of the most important task for security and surveillance applications. Recently, many cameras have been installed in various places for security applications. In a video captured by an indoor camera, visual information including orientation and scale of a object is changing severely and a partial or full body of the object is occluded frequently. To achieve robust visual tracking, tracking-by-detection approach is one of successful way. In this paper, we propose a visual tracking framework based on structured output tracking method called ”Struck”. We introduce scale and orientation parameters in this method for robust object tracking via indoor surveillance cameras. Experimentally, we show that our algorithm is able to outperform state-of-the-art trackers on indoor videos. |
