A Note on Helicobacter Pylori Infection Detection from Gastric X-ray Images -- Performance Comparison between Feature Fusion and Decision Level Fusion --

(in English) In this paper, we examine the helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection detection method using a feature fusion scheme. Generally, doctors diagnose X-ray images which are taken in several directions on examination of H. pylori infection. Previously, we have proposed an H. pylori infection detection method which constructs the discriminators by photographing directions. Furthermore, we integrates the results obtained from each discriminator by using decision level fusion. In this paper, we propose a new method of H. pylori infection detection using the feature fusion scheme and compare the performance between the feature fusion and the decision level fusion.
