A Projection Transformation Method in Consideration of Conservation of Energy

(in English) We proposed a novel image interpolation method, previously. In this method, pixel values are assumed as energy which is according to light energy injection to a pixel sensor, and interpolated pixel values are calculated in conservation the energy. Moreover, a new linear transformation method based on this principle is also proposed.
In this report, a new projection transformation method based on this principle is proposed. This transformation is according to 3-dimensional variance of observation targets. In the proposed method, pixel values of the transformed image are derived as integrated values of partial differentiation of the estimated B-Spline surface. This integration is calculated using Gauss-Legendre quadrature. In our experiments, a projection transformation and inverse transformation are applied. The experimental results show that the proposed method achieves higher image quality than conventional methods.
